Little Squirrels - The Kilndown Pre-School has been established for over 10 years and is run as a charitable institution, managed by a committee of parents and local residents.

The pre-school is fully regulated and inspected by social services and Ofsted.

Staff

The Pre-School staff are registered with social services and undergo regular police checks. The staff are all local and have children of their own, and are therefore well-placed to understand the needs and requirements for children in the area.

A qualified first-aider is present at every session.
Parents

In addition to regular members of staff, parents are encouraged to help if and when they can, and there is often a parent helper present during sessions.
 
There is also a voluntary commitee who oversee the administration and development of the preschool.  Parents are encouraged to attend and participate at the committee meetings.
